Learn Through Active Play (LTAP) is designed for early learning professionals and post secondary early learning students.

The Learn Through Active Play core workshop is four hours, which includes 15 minutes for the pre- and post-workshop survey. The workshop content (3.5 hours) can be delivered in one or multiple sessions. You will also gain access to curated resources and ongoing support from the Learn Through Active Play team.

When you complete the Learn Through Active Play core workshop, you’ll gain access to a variety of valuable support and resources. You can book one-on-one coaching with LTAP staff, and explore helpful articles, printables, and tools to support your programming.

Resource Toolkits
Mentoring sessions
Access to our learning community, the Active Play Exchange

These resources are designed to help you enhance your planning with an active play lens and build a community with likeminded educators.

The pre- and post-surveys aim to assess the effectiveness of the Learn Through Active Play program. We want to accurately measure the positive impact our program has on each participant’s program planning, job satisfaction, and their knowledge of planning with an active play lens.

Completing the post-workshop survey is required to access additional Learn Through Active Play resources. While the baseline survey is optional, we greatly appreciate participants taking the time to complete it, as it provides valuable feedback that supports continuous program improvement.

The information collected will be used for research purposes only. Your email address will be collected should you wish to: enter the gift card prize draw; receive the study results; and/or be contacted to participate in future research studies led by the Child Health & Physical Activity Lab.
