Setting the Environment – Sock Ball Example

 

 

Criteria or observable behaviours of setting up environments:

  • The materials are appropriate for the environment
  • The children are appropriately and independently engaged with the materials
  • You enter the play to provide developmentally appropriate support to those who need it
  • You are able to exit without disrupting the play
  • Celebrate together
